I love the raw grit to the voice, the soft pretty sounds, and the lyrics get my heart worked up in all kinds of awesome ways!!! I am a bit late in finding this, but late is better than never. ♥
There's something about this album that pulled me in--I can't stop listening to it. I know approximately nothing about music, so I can't really articulate why without sounding ridiculous. But every song on here moves me in a way most stuff I listen to doesn't. (Also I picked Home to Me as my favorite track, but so far it's a toss-up between that, One Hundred Rooms, and Ashland. But seriously the whole album is just gorgeous.) margot
